Insurance Agent

Full Job Description

You will  be a part of creating and delivering amazing customer experiences while also working for a leading insurance agency in the DFW area. In this role, you’ll grow your customer service career by learning the field of property and casualty insurance. We will train you to become an expert and support you in passing your state license exam. An ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong sales mentality, desire to succeed, and good organizational/interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus. You will contribute to the success of the customer experience as well as the overall success of the team.This is an IN-OFFICE position for a training period. Remote option available for qualified applicants after training.


Job Responsibilities:
 

  • Assist customers in understanding their coverages and selecting the right products, services and best solutions to meet their personal insurance needs

  • Be providing full lifecycle customer service and sales where you could accept inbound or might be calling out to provide follow up

  • Respond to customer inquiries with compassion and active listening and select the best solution in an efficient manner

  • Identify additional needs customers may have and help them to upgrade products or services

  • Assist customers with various types of insurance needs such as new policies, editing existing policies, taking payments, renewing and reinstating policies, and answering all questions.

  • Perform administrative tasks, as well as handling policy renewals and contacting underwriting to complete policies.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Job Qualifications:

  • Customer Service/Insurance Sales Experience preferred but not required.

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.

  • Must have reliable transportation

  • Basic Computer knowledge and possess strong written, verbal, and people skills.

  • Complete licensing course paid for by Al Boenker Insurance.
